Dr Bierman is a native to the Northwest and received his bachelors’ degree at Oregon State University. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, and then moved to Seattle, where he completed his surgical residency at Swedish Medical Center. His training emphasized orthopedic ankle and foot reconstruction, trauma and sports medicine accomplished at Swedish, Harborview and Virginia Mason in Seattle, Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, and traumatology in Germany. Dr Bierman is currently active in the residency training committee at Swedish Medical Center, passing on knowledge gained in clinical experience, while staying current in new concepts and techniques. Dr Bierman lives in Snoqualmie and enjoys all water and mountain activities, biking and traveling.
