
Dr. Chu is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric
Orthopedics. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Podopediatrics. He is a graduate of the
University of California at Berkeley and received his doctorate from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He then
received his reconstructive foot surgical residency training at the Southern California Podiatric Medical Center. He served
9 years on the Washington Board of Health, and was the past President of Washington State IPA. His special area of interest
is pediatric foot care commonly involving: in-toeing, flatfoot, overlapping digits, metatarsus adductus and clubfoot deformity.
Dr Chu specializes in performing reconstructive foot surgery. He currently serves on the Washington State Board of Health.
He enjoys playing competitive table tennis, coaching baseball, playing in a pool league, bicycling and fishing. Dr Chu and
his wife have two sons and reside in the Bellevue area.
